Spanish-bilingual, vocalist, guitarist, composer, lyricist and entertainer Nicole Patrice is a native to the South Side of Chicago.  She taught herself music beyond absorbing the musical influences of her father, a classically-trained drummer and composer.  Initially, not settled on music as a career, she continued to search for not only direction but even a literal home.  This struggle in the streets of Chicago edified her commitment to speaking out for those like her whose voices go unheard.

As a live performer, she has been seen onstage around Chicago, prominently featured as lead vocalist with Crosswind Latin Jazz and a guest of many others.  Her dynamic contralto voice spans three and one half octaves, making use of her early lessons in jazz improvisation and classical theatrics. Her debut album Venus in Detriment is out now!
